The gallery can be found in the centre of
Fishguard, just off the roundabout at the main square of the town
Snow or ice in the
area:
If there is icy weather
in the hills, I may have problems getting down our little side road even
if the main road is fine. If I can't get in, I'll try to remember to leave
a message on the gallery's ansafone - 01348 874787

Fishguard town centre
|
(There is a map of Pembrokeshire at
the bottom of this page)
Fishguard is in the north of Pembrokeshire and is becoming known
as a centre for art and craftwork.
The town itself has two free
car parks and some very interesting specialist shops.
During most of the year there
is a thriving farmer's market every Saturday
and two harbours - one the
ferry terminal for Ireland, and the other a picturesque old fishing harbour
which has often been used as a film set.
Some businesses are closed
on Wednesday afternoons.
A good place to stay is the
Manor House Hotel in the centre of the town, and the town now boasts a
good selection of places for food and coffee during the day, and
also some excellent restaurants.
The Tapestry depicting the
French Invasion is now back on show
in the town hall, and is
well worth a visit - or two!
