Rebuilding
of the website
Please
bear with me as I try to make the website easier to use, and hopefully,
smarter looking whilst I'm about it! I'm taking away some pages and
refurbishing the rest. It will take some time to sort out the entire site.
If you have any lasting problems in negotiating your way around, please
email me and I'll try to sort it out.

Chris
Tancock
has
recently received awards for two of his photographs in the 2007 Landscape
Photographer of the Year exhibition in London. In all, as many as five
of his photographs were selected for the book and the exhibition.
Cynthia
Jones
Very
sadly, Cynthia died last year. She had exhibited with the gallery since
1999, and had twice held solo exhibitions with us. She began painting professionally
after retirement from a very hectic career as a businesswoman. Her work
was full of exhuberant gusto and freedom, with an exciting use of colour.
Since her death, Cynthia's family have been kind enough to let me have
some of Cynthia's work to sell. These paintings are on display at the gallery
andI'm hoping to put some of them on this website .
ALL
CHANGE AT ORIEL GLAN Y MOR!
In May
2007, Margaret left the gallery in order to go to live (and paint!)
in Portugal.
Beth
is continuing to run the gallery but is using some of the downstairs space
as a studio.
As a
result, the gallery will be representing fewer artists. (If you do
not see your favourite artist's work on this site or hanging in the gallery,
I'll put you in touch with them.)
Refurbishment
is going on rather slowly - but I'll get there eventually.
The
Cystic Fibrosis Trust
The
exhibition and silent auction at Haverfordwest library 4 years ago in order
to raise funds
for
the 40th anniversary fundraising appeal for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust was
a great success. Many Pembrokeshire artists and craftspeople very generously
gave their work for this very worthy cause. To learn more about the
