Peter studied photography
at Chesterfield College of Art, and has worked in photography all of his
life. He specialises in wildlife and landscape work and for many years
his photographs were sold world wide through the Bruce Coleman Agency.
At one point in his
career he was a photographer with the Ministry of Dfence, but mostly he
combined a life of a freelance photographer with that of a lecturer.
He was a part - time
lecturer in photography at Buckinghamshire College of higher Education
and senior lecturer at Buckingham - Chiltern University College.
In 1994, Peter retired
from the academic part of his life, and moved to Pembrokeshire and continues
as a freelance photographer from his base in the village of Trefin.
